Roger Thibault, PE, LSP

Roger possesses over 40 years of environmental consulting and engineering experience. He has overseen numerous hazardous waste site evaluations, clean-ups, and urban redevelopment projects throughout New England and under state and federal programs. Roger has been a Massachusetts Licensed Site Professional (LSP) since the inception of the program. He has served as LSP-of-record for a wide range of sites and has provided hundreds of LSP opinions. Roger has designed and implemented site cleanups involving dual phase extraction systems, in-situ chemical oxidation, capping, major excavations of contaminated soil, and extraction and treatment systems. In addition, Roger possesses broad wastewater, clean water, and solid waste engineering experience.
Project highlights include designing and overseeing abatement and remediation components of major transit maintenance facility rehabilitation projects. Roger is currently directing and acting as LSP-of-Record for extensive assessment and remediation of a PFAS release site in eastern Massachusetts.
In 2020, Roger was the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award from the LSP Association. This award recognizes outstanding individuals and organizations, and their contributions in the field of hazardous waste site cleanup in Massachusetts.
In addition, Roger possesses broad wastewater, clean water, and solid waste engineering experience. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He has experience in water treatment plant renovation, solid waste landfill and transfer station design, and water and sewer system design.
Roger holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts from Columbia University. He is a long-standing member of the Massachusetts Licensed Site Professional Association and the Town of Sharon Standing Building Committee.
