Matt has over 25 years of experience in civil and transportation engineering. His clients include various municipalities and the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT). Matt is responsible for oversight of planning, design, and construction projects in accordance with MassDOT and AASHTO standards, as well as quality control review of project deliverables. He also has extensive experience in the development of complete street designs, right of way documents, traffic management plans, and utility coordination. Matt has represented MassDOT and municipalities at design and permitting public hearings to present preliminary and final project designs to the public.
Project highlights include the design, permitting, and construction services for shared use path projects in Norfolk, Norton, and Natick, Massachusetts and urban roadway reconstruction projects in Framingham, Uxbridge, Lakeville, and Taunton, Massachusetts, which included roundabout design, stormwater improvements and Complete Streets design components.
Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the states of Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. Outside of the office, Matt officiates at USA Swimming competitions and spends much of his time at the pool, hockey rink, or baseball field with his boys and enjoys vacationing near the beach with his family.
