Anthony J. Garro

As Senior Vice President, Tony specializes in the fields of GIS, Public Works, Asset Management, and Transportation Planning. He has served as Project Manager for numerous projects including Pavement Management, Utility Infrastructure Mapping, Compliance Assessments (ADA and MUTCD), and Community Master Plans. With over 30 years of experience in the planning and public works industries, Tony brings extensive consensus building, public presentations, and implementation skills. Tony has deployed GIS-based management systems for more than 100 communities throughout New England, including the development of Capital Improvement Plans for presentation to municipal boards. He has also developed custom Asset Management tools that integrate with the ESRI GIS Suite, MS Access, and web-based platforms.

Tony is very active in the New England Chapter of the APWA and served as New England Chapter President in 2021. He was a recipient of the of the distinguished 2015 NEAPWA Member of the Year Award. Tony is also an appointed member of several GIS boards across New England. In 2023, he was named a GIS Hero by Esri, the global market leader in geographic information system (GIS) software, location intelligence, and mapping.

In his spare time, Tony enjoys playing golf, landscaping, and spending time with his family at the beach.
