Joe has over four decades of civil/environmental engineering experience in the planning, design, and construction management of water and wastewater facilities. He has developed a strong working relationship with municipalities throughout the New England region. As Senior Vice President at BETA, Joe provides a wide range of expertise in all aspects of the design, development, and successful completion of wastewater projects, as well as providing operational training and technical assistance to a number of treatment facilities in New England. Joe is a Certified Soil Evaluator and provides soil-related consultations to communities throughout New England.
Joe has also successfully managed a number of design-build projects from large recycling biosolids composting facilities to advanced wastewater treatment plants. He has worked on projects utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as pasteurization of wastewater, fixed-film activated sludge, and advanced membrane wastewater treatment systems. Joe was Former Past President of the Town of Walpole, Massachusetts’s Pop Warner Football Program, and coached both boys’ and girls’ youth sports activities. He also served on the Governance Board for the Walpole High School.
