Derry Fire Station
Derry. New Hampshire
The Town of Derry contracted Mitchell Associates Architects to design and construct a new state-of-the art, 20,500 square foot fire station. BETA worked with the architects on a steeply sloped site to ensure that earth moving costs were reasonable, despite the quantity of rock found on the site. BETA provided several options for grading and draining the site and was responsible for permitting the siteplans through the Alteration of Terrain Permit and Site Plan Review. Sitework included parking, access drives, retaining walls, an entrance plaza, under- and above-ground stormwater retention, and a new traffic signal for the station.
