Alan J. Gunnison, PE

Alan serves as an Associate in the water and wastewater engineering division of BETA, providing support services involving both environmental engineering and environmental science projects. During his tenure at BETA, Alan has completed projects involving wastewater treatment, water distribution, landfill, and environmental site assessment/remediation. He plays a key role at BETA, with a hands-on approach and years of practical experience.

Alan has been involved in the design and construction of several water and wastewater pump station replacement projects. Recently, he was the project manager for a $20 million multi-phase 25 MGD wastewater pump station replacement project in Taunton, MA.

Alan holds a bachelor of science in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. When not at work, Alan enjoys spending time with wife and two children hiking, biking, or wherever the day brings them.
