Broadway Corridor Signal Timing Improvements
Revere, Massachusetts
The project consists of mainly signal timing coordination/upgrading/retrofitting existing traffic signal control equipment and software at seven existing signalized intersections located along Route 107 (Broadway) corridor in Revere, Massachusetts. The proposed work includes new signal timing coordination, traffic signal controller units, detection system with monitoring and traffic counting capabilities, wireless broadband radio communications, monitoring equipment, Central Traffic Signal Control System, and other pedestrian and bicycle safety improvements.
Work includes pedestrian curb bump-out, pavement milling and overlay, limited areas of full depth pavement reconstruction, new and reset granite curbing, cement concrete wheelchair ramps and sidewalk, new crosswalks, pavement markings, safety signage work, and safety controls and signing for construction operations.
