Designing the Future: How BETA Engineers are Shaping Tomorrow
Engineers work with more than just numbers, calculations, and blueprints. They help shape the world, solve complex problems, and design improvements to the communities where we live and work. Engineers Week, observed from February 16 – 22, 2025, is a time to celebrate the impact of engineers and inspire the next generation of this ever-evolving field. The theme for 2025 is “Design Your Future.”
From enhancing pedestrian safety to addressing stormwater challenges, BETA engineers are at the forefront of designing innovative solutions that shape our communities. Discover how their passion for problem-solving and commitment to excellence are building a better tomorrow.
Celebrating International Day of Women and Girls in Science

February 11th marked the tenth anniversary of the world celebrating International Day of Women and Girls in Science— a day to honor the many amazing women shaping the future of STEM. At BETA, we’re lucky to have several talented women on our team, including environmental scientists Elyse and Anna, who are making a real impact in the communities where we live and work. To mark the occasion, we asked them to share their thoughts on this milestone and what it’s like to be a woman in science today. Read the full interview here.
Welcome to the Team!
