BETA Group, Inc. Opens Office in Worcester, Massachusetts with Acquisition of Environmental Services Firm

BETA Group, Inc. recently announced the acquisition of Nover-Armstrong Associates, Inc. In addition to adding several new employees and an expanded service offering, this strategic acquisition has also provided BETA with a sixth office location in Worcester, Massachusetts. BETA has been working in and around the Worcester area for over 35 years, providing engineering, planning and landscape architecture services.

BETA offers all areas of its technical expertise in the new office, including civil and site engineering, water and wastewater engineering, environmental services, geographic information systems, landscape architecture/urban design, structural engineering, and transportation and traffic engineering. Previous projects that BETA has completed in the City include traffic, roadway and streetscape improvements for Main Street; design of the Lake Avenue North Linear Park and multi-use trail; and improvements for the Shrewsbury Street roadway, which is coincidentally the location of BETA’s new office.

Not only is the Worcester office easily accessible from I-90 and I-290, allowing BETA staff to quickly reach other clients in the Central Massachusetts region, it also provides access to excellent amenities for BETA employees.

The office will be led by Marylou Armstrong, LSP and Marta Nover, who joined BETA’s management team during the acquisition as Vice Presidents of its environmental services group. Both have been working in the field for over 30 years and bring a wealth of experience, expertise, and energy to the BETA team.
